The partner's view

What partners see and do in their customer account.

The partner area is the Affiliate Program page in the customer account. There partners see their available commission, promote you with code, link and voucher, redeem their commission as a voucher or payout and follow their orders and customers. You decide in the settings what of this is visible.

Storefront: My account → Affiliate Program (/dvsn/affiliate). Administration: side menu System → Settings → card Partners · Partner area

Access and header

Where do partners find the partner area?

The account navigation shows the entry Affiliate Program as long as the affiliate program is active in the sales channel. It opens /dvsn/affiliate. Customers who are not partners yet land on the registration page; with automatic registration a customer becomes a partner on the first visit. Guests have no access.

  • Affiliate Program is listed with the account entries, after “Orders”.

  • Tabs: Overview, Commission, Statistics and Settings. With ?tab=redeem, ?tab=statistics or ?tab=settings on the address the matching tab opens directly, for a link in a newsletter for example.

  • Log in as partner: in the administration this button at the partner opens the partner area in a new tab exactly as the partner sees it. More in the chapter Managing partners.

  • Inactive partners still see their area; the shop rejects changes and redemptions with a notice.

What does the header of the partner area show?

At the top is the same header as on the registration page: “Recommend us and earn with every order” with an introduction that fits the ways of promotion, such as “Share your personal link or voucher code.”. On the right are the figures of the partner.

  • Available commission with the way to redeem it, such as “to redeem as a voucher or payout”, below it the number of referred customers and their orders. Throughout the partner area the redeemable amount is called “commission”; “credit” only appears with the starting credit.

  • An explanation for every section: the “i” next to a heading opens a short explanation. It only names what applies to your settings, such as the waiting period until the credit, whether repeat orders count and what happens on a cancellation.

The overview

What do partners see in the Overview tab?

The overview changes with the first order. Before it, it explains how the program works and what the partner earns; afterwards it shows what they brought in.

  • Without an order: “How it works” in three steps: share your link or voucher code, customers order, earn commission. The second step names the waiting period until the credit, 14 days by default.

  • Promote: partner code and voucher code with “Copy” and “Change”, below them the partner link and the short link, if you like with a QR code, and a field for a link to a specific page. All about it in the chapter Marketing.

  • Latest orders: the four newest orders of referred customers with number, date and customer. Below are the waiting period until the commission and the link “All orders” to the statistics.

  • Partner group: if the partner belongs to a group with automatic promotion, a bar shows what is missing to the next one, such as “€1,485.22 more turnover to reach Gold” in the last 12 months. More in the chapter Partner groups.

  • Your terms, before the first order “What you earn”: commission, repeat orders, voucher code, starting credit, credit, way to redeem and partner group, exactly as they apply to this partner today. If they belong to an active partner group, its rates are shown.

What do the figures to the right of an order mean?

Orders look the same in the overview and in the statistics. On the left are number, date and the customer with first name and initial of the last name, on the right what the order brings the partner.

  • Amount with “of …”: the order is credited, such as €2.35 of commission from €29.33 of revenue.

  • “---”: the commission is not final yet, the waiting period is still running.

  • Grey amount: the preliminary commission when Show turnover and commissions for non-commissionable orders is on. It is calculated when the order comes in and never recalculated; the final commission may differ.

  • “Cancelled”: with Show commission status and a Status for canceled orders, as long as the order is not credited yet and has one of the selected states.

Redeeming commission

How do partners redeem their commission?

The Commission tab starts with “Redeem commission · … available” and a line about the current state. Below it the partner chooses voucher or payout and the amount. You decide which ways and amounts exist; see the chapter Payout.

  1. 1The partner opens Affiliate Program → Commission.

  2. 2They choose As a voucher or As a payout. With only one way, only that tile is shown across the full width.

  3. 3They choose a staggered amount, or with a free amount the amount they want. The highest reachable amount or the whole commission is preselected.

  4. 4Below it says how much commission remains. A click on Create voucher of €100.00 creates the voucher at once; for a payout the button reads Pay out €100.00, for example, and names the target next to it, such as the PayPal account.

  5. 5The voucher appears with its code in the History; a payout appears there as “Requested” until it has been checked.

The state line names what applies right now, for example:

  • “You can redeem up to €100.00 as a voucher.”: there is enough commission.

  • “We are checking your payout of €25.00 from 17 Oct 2026.”: a request is open. After approval it says that the transfer follows with the next payment run.

  • “Shortly we will automatically request a payout of €29.00.”: the automatic payout is due.

  • “Add your payout details, then you can request a payout.” in red with “Go to settings”: bank account or PayPal address are missing.

  • “€4.28 left until the first payout from €10.00.” with a bar: something is still missing to the smallest amount.

Where do partners see their vouchers and payouts?

Under History vouchers and payouts are listed together, the newest first. The “i” explains the states in the partner's words.

  • Voucher: name of the promotion, date and “Voucher code:” with the code for the checkout; on the right the value and “redeemed” or “not yet redeemed”. The code can be used exactly once.

  • Payout: number, date and method with PayPal address or shortened IBAN, “Automatic” for automatic requests; on the right the amount and “Requested”, “Approved”, “Paid on …” or “Rejected”.

  • Receipt (PDF): for paid payouts, when Offer the payout document as a download is on. Only the signed-in partner can load it.

Statistics and settings

Which figures do partners see in the Statistics tab?

The tab shows what the partner brings in: a chart over the year or the last 30 days, the clicks if you like, the orders, the referred customers, the manual bookings and, if you like, the advanced statistics.

  • Trend: “Revenue & commission” or “Customers & orders”, by month of the current year or by day of the last 30 days. Revenue and commission only count once the commission of an order is final; cancelled orders drop out.

  • Clicks & orders in the last 30 days with conversion rate and top landing pages, when Show click statistics in the partner area is on. The partner sees no IP addresses, user agents or customers.

  • Orders: the latest orders of referred customers, the last 10 by default. The footer names the waiting period: “Revenue and commission are final 14 days after the order, unless it is cancelled.”

  • Referred customers: first name, initial of the last name and city, such as “Theresa F. from Düsseldorf”, with “since …” and whether an order with final commission is among them.

  • Manual bookings: credits and deductions with their public comment, such as the starting credit, a bonus or the settlement of a cancelled order. The card only appears when there are bookings.

  • Advanced statistics: choose a year; Load statistics shows every order of referred customers with revenue, commission and the conditions age, customer group and order status; Download as CSV saves the list for a spreadsheet.

What do partners set in the Settings tab?

Two cards one below the other: Your payout details when the compensation allows payouts, and Email notifications when the matching emails are switched on. Without both, the tab shows “No settings”.

  • Your payout details: method and recipient with “Change”. The form shows the methods as tiles when SEPA bank transfer and PayPal are both offered. New details apply to new payouts.

  • New order: an email with every order of a referred customer, before its commission is final. Only visible when Activate email when an assigned customer creates an order is on.

  • Commission ready: an email as soon as a further amount can be redeemed. Only visible when Activate email when commission is available for payment is on.

What a partner unsubscribes here only applies to them; the emails to all other partners stay as you switched them in the settings. More in the chapter Emails and flows.

What does the partner area look like on a phone?

The partner area adapts to every screen. On a phone header, tiles, codes and amounts stand one below the other; the partner copies codes and links with a tap. Colours and corners come from the theme of the shop.

  • Overview: header with the available commission, below it partner code and voucher code with “Copy”.

  • Commission: tiles and amounts one below the other, then the target of the payout and the button.

What you set

Which settings decide what partners see?

Most switches are in the card Partners · Partner area of the settings. They apply per sales channel.

  • Selection of the last referred orders and Number of last orders / days: the last 10 orders (the default) or the orders of the last x days in the statistics.

  • Show the last referred customers (on by default) with selection and number: the card “Referred customers”.

Common questions

Where do partners find their partner area?

In the customer account under “Affiliate Program”, directly at /dvsn/affiliate. Customers who are not partners yet see the registration page there.

Can partners see which customers they referred?

Yes, with first name, initial of the last name and city, never with full name or email address. You can switch the list off in the settings.

Why does an order show “---” instead of a commission?

The commission is only final after the waiting period, 14 days after the order by default. Until then it shows “---” or, if you switch it on, the preliminary commission in grey.

Can I see the partner area the way a partner sees it?

Yes. The button “Log in as partner” at the partner opens the partner area in a new tab as this customer. The admin user needs the Shopware permission to log in as a customer.

Does the partner area work on a phone?

Yes. Header, tiles, codes and amounts stand one below the other on small screens, and the partner copies codes and links with a tap.

Can partners unsubscribe from emails?

Yes. Partners switch off “New order” and “Commission ready” themselves in the Settings tab, as long as you have switched these emails on.

Can I change texts and look of the partner area?

The texts are snippets and can be changed in the administration. Colours and corners come from the theme; every card is a template of its own with Twig blocks.
